1. The Exorcist (1973)
Mark our words!!! You might have hundreds of horror movies made in forthcoming years, but nothing can better than this one. ‘The Exorcist’ is a masterpiece that gave a birth to the genre of ‘Horror’. The film sends us high on fever chilling our bone marrows. Set in backdrops of Washington DC, the film revolves around a girl haunted by ghost and she starts sending her family members and close friends in absolute horror. When the entire family members are brimmed with fear and desolation, there arrives a hope through an exorcist.
2. Psycho (1960)
The father of thriller movies Alfred Hitchcock stunned the entire globe with his movie ‘Psycho’, the first of its kind of movie based on multiple personality disorder that has been inspiring millions of our filmmakers, especially in Kollywood. The film is still considered as an evergreen masterpiece not alone for the spine-shuddering moments, but for the stunning technical aspects, especially the murder sequence in shower that was shot with 63 cameras.

3. Hell Raiser (1987)

The film has been registered with 8/10 ratings in IMDB. A wealthy San Francisco socialite pursues a potential boyfriend to a small Northern California town that slowly takes a turn for the bizarre when birds of all kinds suddenly begin to attack people there in increasing numbers and with increasing viciousness. The people who have managed to escape from the clutches of these birds have no time to investigate the mysterious happenings, since ‘Living’ becomes their main priority.

5. Jaws (1975)
The brand ‘Steven Spielberg’ is enough to ensure you that how this film should be. Trust us, it is a horrendous adventure for the audiences as he exerts herculean efforts to scare us with the gigantic creatures like Whales, Dinosaurs and so on. The film is about a gigantic great white shark that begins to menace the small island community of Amity, a police chief, a marine scientist and grizzled fisherman set out to stop it.
