Rajini,Shankar,Sun pictures for version 2.0.Its official!!!

In the recent days a rumor is making buzz in the tinsel town that the makers of Rajini's Endhiran are in plans to make a sequel to the earlier version.

Yes! The rumor is coming true as Sun pictures have already started the ground work for the sequel of Endhiran. Endhiran which was released last year has been the biggest blockbuster hit of the year by crossing 150 days of theatrical run. The screens are still running with packed houses in some parts of Tamilnadu. Endhiran is said to be the highest-ever grosser in all the languages released.

On the other hand Sun pictures have succeeded in convincing Rajini for the sequel. This for the first time Rajini is doing a sequel in his career.

Hansraj Saxena, the energetic CEO of Sun Pictures said "We had initial discussions with Rajinikanth and director Shankar and both have showed their interest in working for the sequel. The budget of the sequel may go beyond the budget of its original part."

An official announcement regarding the sequel of Endhiran is going to be made soon.

The movie is said to be made in whopping budget of 300 crores & the movie is said to be in the backdrop of chennai wherein the plot is supposed to planned in year 2080.Rajini plays 3 role in that movie,one is old vaseegaran, chitti & a young rajini.Sun pictures are scouting for a heroine from hollywood.

It's official now about Endhiran 2.0 confirmed by Rathnavelu:

Good news awaits Rajini fans even before the start of their Thalaivar’s next venture ‘Rana’. Yes, the Superstar is preparing himself for a sequel to ‘Enthiran’, his biggest blockbuster till date.
This has been revealed by none other than cinematographer Rathnavelu, who picturised ‘Enthiran’ and now getting ready to wield the camera for ‘Rana’ too. “Talks are currently on,” he says.
Shedding more light, he says, “Rajini sir, Sun Pictures, Shankar, Rahman and myself will come together for Enthiran-2 too. Most members of Enthiran team will be retained. Shankar is currently making the script ready.”
Saying that the movie would go on floors once Rajini completes ‘Rana’ and Shankar completes ‘Nanban’, a remake of ‘Three Idiots’, Randy says he would soon leave for Scotland to zero in on locations for ‘Rana’.
