A deranged man in Sweden murdered his girlfriend while she was asleep, decapitated her and then ate some parts of her body.
According to the Expressen, Isakin Jonsson, 32, and his 40-year-old girlfriend had gone shopping, and then returned to their apartment.
Then while his girlfriend was asleep, Jonsson cut up the mattress with a knife and then slit her throat.
"I remember how I slit her throat. Then I went to the kitchen and started cooking," the Herald Sun quoted Jonsson as telling a court in the central town of Skovde.
Prosecutors said Jonsson cut off her head using a knife, a saw and scissors.
While the court found him guilty of murdering his girlfriend, a psychiatric examination found that he suffered from a severe mental illness, and he was sentenced to psychiatric care.
Jonsson showed no remorse in court and offered no motive either.
"There was no motive whatsoever. We were a couple with a future together. I've never felt this way with a girl before," he stated.
